Okay, so the deal is that I solicited all of the authors at Harper Voyager Impulse to see who wanted to send me books to give away and so many great people shipped me books…and then my dog got sick.

But check this out:

That right there, my friends, is a smorgasbord—do you hear me? A SMORGASBORD—of delightful fiction with witty, clever characters, hair-raising scares, adventures, love, hate, and everything you can mash into a $10 pirate map I owe my friend $8 for the next time I see her. Basically, all of these books?

I AM GIVING THEM AWAY.

And that’s in addition to 9—count ’em, 9—e-copies of Supervillains Anonymous that I have just sitting in my inbox. So let’s do this thing, let’s kick this off.

BLOG GIVEAWAY

Right here, we have Mr. Nick Cole’s Soda Pop Soldier. I’m excited to be giving this away because in just a couple of weeks, I’ll be sitting at a table with him as he signs a bunch of these for lucky fans. Oh, did I just accidentally tell you all that I’m going to San Diego Comic Con?

I’M GOING TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON.

If you haven't checked out Nick's blog, you should go find him on his blog, Nick Cole Books. You're always guaranteed an interesting topic over there (he has a lot of great things to say about Mad Max, which makes me glad we're friends. If you haven't seen Mad Max, go see Mad Max. I'll wait. No, wait, hold on, keep reading about Nick Cole's amazing book):

See, here's little synopsis for you:

Call of Duty meets Diablo in this fast-paced, action-packed novel from the author of The Wasteland Saga.
Gamer PerfectQuestion fights for ColaCorp in WarWorld, an online combat sport arena where mega-corporations field entire armies in the battle for real world global advertising-space dominance. Within the immense virtual battlefield, players and bots are high-tech grunts, using drop-ships and state-of-the-art weaponry to wipe each other out.
But times are tough and the rent is due, and when players need extra dough, there's always the Black, an illegal open source tournament where the sick and twisted desires of the future are given free rein in the Wastehavens, a gothic dungeon fantasy world.
And all too soon, the real and virtual worlds collide when PerfectQuestion refuses to become the tool of a mad man intent on hacking the global economy for himself.

This book’s pretty big, so I’m afraid I’m going to limit this one to US and domestic shipping only. I’m sorry, international fans! But here’s the deal: to win one of my two copies (the other, I’ll be giving away on Tumblr), comment below. Tell me a joke. Give me a really bad pun. Your favorite brand of soda. Anything you want to say. But all you have to do is comment—and then make sure to check back here on Monday at 11:00 a.m. CST because that’s when I’ll be announcing my winner and I'll have instructions on how to get in touch with me for your copy.

You heard me, get to commenting!
